Leading information communications technology (ICT) firm, MTN Nigeria, has thrown its weight behind the 2013 edition of the prestigious Titans of Tech conference and exhibition.
Speaking to newsmen in Lagos weekend, Don Pedro Aganbi, Managing Consultant, Technology Africa, praised the ICT giant for again demonstrating its commitment to contributing to the continued growth and development of the Nigerian economy.
According to him, “MTN’s support and endorsement of the Titans of Tech 2013 is based on the firm belief and conviction that the conference will engender further growth of Nigeria’s telecommunications sector and indeed ICT market, which has experienced phenomenal growth in the last decade.

With the theme “Broadband, Data Centres and the Quest for Inclusive Society” the conference will afford MTN and indeed all other sponsors ample opportunities to reveal the extent of their investment in Nigeria and the growing need to promote access to broadband across the country.
The ICT enthusiast noted that the Titans of Tech, now in its eighth year, would provide a platform for government to present its plans/policies and the private sector to provide insights into challenges, opportunities, available solutions and options in deploying infrastructure to support the emerging digital economy. In addition it is a great opportunity for networking and forging strategic partnerships amongst key stakeholders in the sector.
